the sole official governing body for the game of cricket in Kuwait is set to resume all it’s domestic cricket activities from 18th February onwards after having received the official letter from the Kuwait Olympic Committee ????????????????????????
After a successful meeting with the Sports Minister earlier this week of KCC Board members followed by the official letter from the Kuwait Olympic Committee, KCC Board President Mr. Haider Farman has given the nod to resume all the domestic cricket activities from this weekend on wards with strict Covid-19 guidelines.
Guidlines are as follows:
1.) Only the playing eleven plus one substitute will be allowed in KC venues.
2.) Therefore, no spectators, family or friend will be allowed in any of the KC venues (Desert & Sulaibiya).
3.) No physical contact between players and officials during the start / end of play as well as during the celebration of wickets / victory etc.
4.) Any player that has any Covid-19 related symptoms must not come to the ground to play under any circumstances whatsoever. This is the responsibility of all team captains & management.
5.) Masks and social distancing pre / post match is MANDATORY!
6.) Thermometer checks will be conducted by KCC officials present at KCC venues.
Violation of any of the above from any team or player can result in serious action as per the government authorities (rules & regulations) against the individual / team so all KC registered teams and players are advised to strictly follow all the protocols / SOP. ????????????
Moving on, please find below the schedule of 2 weeks including Hala Feb Public holidays (carrying on from where KCC stopped) and as informed earlier, no changes shall be accommodated considering the exceptional circumstances of timelines that are required to be met to finish all domestic tournaments in the month of June (post eid holidays) - INSHALLAH. ???
All KCC registered teams are advised and requested to adhere to the schedule and show the much required spirit as displayed in Q4 2020 to conclude the 2019 pending tournaments ????????????
